Coffee and Play

Little Coffee Stop provides a safe place for under-5s to play while their parents/carers enjoy a hot drink, a breakfast roll or scone and a chat. On the first Friday of every month we have Pancake Friday - you are free to choose your own toppings from our selection and we make no judgement on how many toppings you decide to add!

We run in the Thomas Chalmers Church Centre on Friday mornings during the Edinburgh school term times from 09:30 to 11:20. There is loads of entertainment for the kids and good company for the adults. We offer Story Time at 10:45 then the ever-popular Song Time at 11:00 each week - please let us know if there are any particular songs you would like to sing.

For the adults, we have a café where you can have a variety of coffees, teas or hot chocolate with an option of flavoured syrups for that special touch! We serve bacon and vegan sausage rolls, home-made scones and we occasionally have muffins, all at very reasonable prices. Healthy snacks are available free of charge for the wee ones.

There is no need to register in advance and no charge to join in - just come along on Friday morning. The Team is happy to greet both familiar faces and new visitors and we guarantee that a warm welcome awaits everyone.
