You’re Welcome

Together in Kirkliston, we’re creating a space where everyone belongs.

Here, new friendships are made, community is strengthened and it all starts with a cuppa.

Why The Warm Welcome Hub Exists

At Kirkliston’s Warm Welcome Hub we open our doors to anyone feeling the bite of today’s cost-of-living crisis, offering hot drinks, friendship, and practical support so no one has to face hardship alone.

This local campaign is part of the national Warm Welcome movement that seeks to create free, welcoming community spaces across the UK; it reflects Gordon Brown’s call for a “coalition of compassion” to tackle poverty and build stronger, kinder communities together.

What People Are Saying Across The UK

“84% of people who joined a Warm Welcome Space said it helped them have a stronger sense of belonging to their community.”

“A Warm Welcome Space is a great place to share a cuppa, connect with others, and make new friends.”

“Warm Welcome Spaces are places full of human warmth, belonging, connection and hope.”

“It helped me cope with the hard times. Knowing other people are going through the same and having somewhere to meet with those people that’s both safe and warm and free has been a real big help and taken worry and stress out of stressful situations.”
