FOREVER
The moon and stars they wept;
the morning sun was dead,
the Saviour of the world was fallen.
His body on the cross,
His blood poured out for us,
The weight of every curse upon Him.
One final breath He gave,
as heaven looked away.
The son of God was laid in darkness.
A battle in the grave,
the war on death was waged.
The power of hell forever broken.
The ground began to shake,
the stone was rolled away
His perfect love could not be overcome.
Now death where is your sting?
Our resurrected King
has rendered you defeated!
Forever He is glorified.
Forever He is lifted high.
Forever He is risen.
He is alive, He is alive!
Forever He is glorified.
Forever He is lifted high.
Forever He is risen.
He is alive, He is alive!
The ground began to shake,
the stone was rolled away
His perfect love could not be overcome.
Now death where is your sting?
Our resurrected King
has rendered you defeated!
Forever He is glorified.
Forever He is lifted high.
Forever He is risen.
He is alive, He is alive!

Jesus has risen!
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, ‘Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: “The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.”’ Then they remembered his words.

LIVING HOPE
How great the chasm
that lay between us
How high the mountain
I could not climb
In desperation,
I turned to heaven
And spoke Your name into the night
Then through the darkness
Your loving kindness
tore through the shadows of my soul
The work is finished,
the end is written
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Who could imagine
so great a mercy?
What heart could fathom
such boundless grace?
The God of ages
stepped down from glory
to wear my sin and bear my shame
The cross has spoken,
I am forgiven
The king of kings calls me His own.
Beautiful Saviour,
I'm Yours forever
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Hallelujah,
praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah,
death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
there's salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Hallelujah,
praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah,
death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
there's salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Then came the morning
that sealed the promise
Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence,
the Roaring Lion
declared the grave has no claim on me
Then came the morning
that sealed the promise
Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence,
the Roaring Lion
declared the grave has no claim on me
Hallelujah,
praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah,
death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
there's salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Jesus Christ, my living hope
O Lord, You are my living hope
